Chagrin Falls High School is pleased to announce that four seniors have been recognized as Commended Scholars in the National Merit Scholarship Program. The honorees are Elias Havas, Claire Hoelzel, Ethan Johnson and Audrey Solvesky.

The Commended Scholar designation is awarded to students whose outstanding performance on the Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test places them among the top scorers nationwide. Fewer than 3.5 percent of the more than 1.3 million students who take the test each year achieve this distinction.

“This recognition reflects the exceptional effort and academic dedication of our students,” said Amanda Rassi, Principal of Chagrin Falls High School. “Elias, Ethan, Audrey and Claire exemplify the qualities of scholarship, curiosity and perseverance that we encourage and celebrate at Chagrin Falls.”

The National Merit Scholarship Program, established in 1955, honors the nation’s top academic performers and encourages the pursuit of educational excellence. Students recognized as Commended Scholars may become eligible for a wide range of scholarship opportunities as they continue their academic journeys.

Chagrin Falls Schools congratulates Elias, Ethan, Audrey and Claire on this notable achievement and looks forward to supporting their future success.
