For the second year running, Chagrin Falls High School has claimed victory in the Sora School Stars Global Marketing Content competition, with three seniors earning the "Best Student-Made Submission" award for their innovative tribute to digital reading.
Seniors Theo Hawk, Lena Tucker, and Andrew Strawn collaborated with Marketing Class instructor John Bakalar and Library Media Specialist Angie Jameson to create "One Book," a clever remake of Ray-J's hit song "One Wish" that celebrates the impact of Sora's digital library platform on student learning.
The winning submission earned the school $500 in Sora Content Credit, which will directly benefit Chagrin Falls students in grades 7-12 by expanding access to digital library resources. The global competition challenged students worldwide to showcase "Sora's impact on your students" through creative mediums, welcoming everything from videos and presentations to original songs.
