The Academy for the Performing Arts, part of the Excel TECC consortium, is now accepting applications from current sophomores across its participating school districts for the 2026–2027 academic year.
The Academy is a two-year, college preparatory Career Technical Education program dedicated to immersive training in theatre, film, design, and performance. Students collaborate daily in a conservatory-style environment, developing their artistic voice while gaining the professional skills needed for success in the entertainment industry.
Sophomores from the following Excel TECC partner districts are eligible to apply:
• Aurora
• Beachwood
• Chagrin Falls
• Mayfield
• Newbury
• Orange
• Richmond Heights
• Solon
• South Euclid–Lyndhurst
• West Geauga
