principal

Two Northeast Ohio school principals, including Amanda Rassi, principal of Chagrin Falls High School, have been selected to receive the prestigious William M. Jones/Harvard Business School Club Excellence in School Leadership & Management Awards, each earning $3,000 to support their school activities and programs. The second teacher was from Cleveland Metropolitan School District.  Rassi was nominated by business teacher John Bakalar.

The annual awards, established by the Harvard Business School Club of Northeastern Ohio, recognize principals who demonstrate exceptional leadership and management excellence while achieving measurable improvements in educational quality.

Rassi's nomination by Bakalar highlighted her innovative approach to educational leadership and her commitment to creating measurable improvements in student performance at Chagrin Falls High School. The business teacher's endorsement emphasized how Rassi has transformed the school's culture while maintaining focus on academic excellence and student development.

The William M. Jones Excellence Awards specifically target school leaders who have made tangible differences in their educational communities. Recipients are evaluated based on their ability to improve student performance, implement innovative management practices, and foster environments that prioritize children's success.

The $3,000 awards are designated for school activities and programs that will directly benefit students and the broader school community. Rassi was recognized at the June 11 Chagrin Falls Board of Education meeting.
