Q: Where can I find things such as the strategic plan and athletic forms?

A:  Some users to the new web site have had trouble finding certain items. In the majority of cases, the drop down navigation at the top of the page will take you right where you need to go.

For specific building information, please check the individual building sites.

Q: When is the school calendar updated?

A: The district calendar is quite accurate. Chagrin Falls Schools have information for the entire school year on that calendar.  When events change, the calendar is updated as soon as possible.
 
Q: Why do some teachers have websites and others do not?

A: The new website gives every teacher at the Chagrin Falls Exempted Village School District the ability to have their own website for each of their classes.  Many teachers have already gotten their new site up and running.  If your student's teacher does not have a site up yet, it will most likely be up and running very soon.

Q: How do I contact a teacher or administrator?

A:  You can use the Contact List under the Contact link along the top of the web site.  The best way to search for a staff member is by last name only.  If you are not sure how to spell a staff member's last name, simply type the first few letters. Every member of Chagrin Falls Exempted Village School District has a school email address.

To contact a staff member, simply use [email protected] (notice the "." between the first name and the last name)

Q: Where do I go to register for the newsletter?

A: Use the "E-Newsletter" link on the front page to sign up.  Click the "New Users Click Here" to register.

Once you fill out the form, you can choose to sign up for Informational emails, Newsletters, or both.  Informational emails will be used for general information that parents / community members need to know.  Newsletters will be used to send a copy of the school newsletter home electronically as opposed to a paper copy.

You can also choose what buildings to receive emails from simply by checking the box for that building.

Q: I signed up, but I did not get a particular email.  When I try to get in to change my information,  I am told that my email address is already in use. What do I do?

A:  This occurs because the web site only allows an email address to be used by one family.  You cannot register the same email address twice.

When you sign up for the E-Newsletter or informational emails, you are asked to create a password.  Go to http://www.chagrinschools.org, click E-Newsletter sign up on the left hand side, and sign in using your email address and your password.  You will then be able to change your settings.

Q: Will my email be used for other purposes?

A: No, this list is strictly for informational purposes for Chagrin Falls Exempted Village School District.
