Because good nutrition is essential to learning, we offer a nutritious, low-cost lunch to students in the school cafeterias. Several menu choices for a Type A lunch and a la carte purchase are available each day. Additionally, each cafeteria offers snack items and beverage selections. Type A lunches range in price from $2.25 - $2.75. 

 

The district wellness policy provides guidelines for healthy food choices both in the cafeteria and for other foods served or sold during the school day. We encourage the selection of whole grain foods that are lower in sugar and fat. Fresh fruits and vegetables are available in the cafeterias daily and we encourage students to select these items.

 

We allow students to prepay for meals as a convenience to both parents and students. Because we try to keep the costs for lunches as low as possible, we depend on everyone to keep their accounts up to date. If a student’s account has a zero or negative balance, they will be given a cheese sandwich and milk and a minimum charge will be applied to their account.   Money can be applied to a student’s account by sending a check to the Food Service Department or online at myschoolaccount.com.
